Blushing in Pink!!

Love Lush in Pink 🙂

A Big Hello to everyone!!

Hope you all have been doing well and taking good care of your emotional and physical self. So have you heard, that Venus is in Retrograde?? This phase started from October 5th, 2018 and will last till Nov 16th, 2018. Let me explain what this means – Venus is a planet of Goddess of Love and it is the only planet that shines the brightest. This planet rules how we behave in our relationships. During this period Venus moves backwards and it effects us emotionally and leads to self reflection. So make sure you stay positive throughout and don’t take any drastic decisions in life in this phase. Stay calm and let it flow. 🙂

So I decided to adorn myself in Pink and blush in this colour of optimism, love, joy, compassion and generosity. Pink is also a colour of Hope. The word “Pink” has its roots in a species of flowers called “Pinks ” It was described as a colour in the 17th Century.

Pink also reflects one’s sweet side and child like innocence. Think about this, do we imagine a ghost in the colour Pink ?? No right !! We imagine it in Black mostly. But Pink is the magical colour that reminds you of beauty. It makes you vibe higher and attracts positivity. Not to forget the magical powers of a Rose Quartz – The love stone. It is considered to be a lucky stone of love and bliss.

And of course, Pink has long back, broken the barrier of being limited to a girl’s closet. In the 18th Century, it was seen as a colour elegant for both sexes. It has progressed through the years and it took the world on a mad wave in the 20th century, when Brooks Brothers introduced the Pink shirt. The colour became highly popular in the 1940’s 50’s, 70’s and the 80’s . Then came a phase of this colour being subduedly used. But in the 2000’s it created a stronger niche for itself again. Men have fondly worn it fashionably to both work and play. This colour is indeed here to stay and we are incomplete without this hue in our wardrobe.

I love the simplicity of this outfit. It’s comfortable and easy to wear. I like my non clingy  V – Neck top. The V – neck gives a sharper look to my soft pink top. These high waisted flared loose pants are quite cool and retro. Its got detailing on the pleats with the white thread, so one can also wear this outfit in a sporty fashion. If you wear this outfit with a pair of funky white sneakers, it will look super cool casual.

I decided to go blingy with this retro look and have accessorised it with a chunky love pendant and a pair of gold earrings. My pink champagne sunnies add an oomph to my demeanour. I decided to go metallic on my feet with the bronze – gold wedge heels. Just for you to know metallic clothes and shoes are killing it at the runways. And to add the cherry on top – I accessorised my hair with the Hot Pink Rose, oh yes darling…….l love to POSE!! 🙂

So what are you waiting for? Go add some pink for the love of VENUS!!

  2. Amazingly conveyed the importance of ‘pink’!!! The fact is that everyone wants to be fashionable. You have rightly directed people on how one should adopt fashion. Very nice, beautiful.

    1. Thank you so much for appreciating! Pink is a happy colour and it rubs its vibe on you. Lighter shades of pink also look very nice in the form of pants, Indian wear, floral dresses or even chiffon sarees….. the list is endless!
