Polka Folka:

The word Polka is derived from the Polish for the “Polish woman”. Polka dots are so feminine. Today when we wear them we inherit and embrace the legacy from the women who have worn them before us.

America’s love affair with the Polka dot began in 1926, when Miss America was photographed in a polka dot swimsuit. Shortly after, 1928, Disney introduced its cartoon darling “Minnie Mouse” wearing a red polka dot dress and a matching bow. And then, there was no looking back ….polka dots became the next big thing in the fashion scenario. Throughout the 1930’s polka dotted dresses appeared in stores nipped in ribbons and bows. And of course we all cannot forget the sexy damsel Marilyn Monroe in the polka dotted bikini, which lead to the creation of the HIT SONG of all times – “Itsby Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini – By Brian Hyland.

A cute polka dotted dress is perfect for a date 🙂 …….I love the magic of bows on it too.  However, my look is different from a polka dress to a fun and sexy style from the 80s. I love the loose polka top with these shimmery comfortable stretchy pants. Combined with each other they ooze an intriguing vibe. I smoked my eyes up as they add so much character to my attire. These pointed stilettos add an edge to the entire ensemble. Wear a watch or a cool bracelet to perk it up.

Hello Fashion Lovers!!! Just like anything amazing......Fashion is like the flowing creative energy of the soul through which one expresses oneself in gorgeous styles and colours. I loved the name because it reflects my personality - with many shades and stories to share. 💕 Love for fashion was instilled in me ever since I started recognising the magic of uniting the right combinations. An attire can create a spell, if they are perfectly put together. As a child, I would team up outfits innovatively and look beyond the ordinary. From being a fashion connoisseur, and a model, I ventured into the equity world and gained insights into business. I am also a trained actor and have acted in plays and short films. Being a spiritual seeker - I am also into healing. This has changed my vibe as a human being and has made me understand the power of a human mind and energy. Am absolutely grateful for that!! Spirituality has always fascinated me......the path has only lead me to discover the divinity within and strive to be the best version of myself. Chic Styling has been a part of my personality.....My ultimate fashion icons have been Cindy Crawford, Latetia Casta, Gisele Bundchen, Claudia Schiffer, Monica Bellucci. Style is just never about brands alone, but how you bring out the best, by embracing yourself, keeping fit and understanding your body and styling it with a fabulous ensemble of fabric and accessories. My love for fitness has always inspired me to push limits to achieve higher goals. I believe that one's physical, emotional and spiritual self should be aligned to bring a balance in life and manifest the best for self and others.
